  9. ICY - a system friendly Zorro II I2C board
  10. ==========================================
  11.  
  12. ICY implements a system conform I2C bus interface on a ZorroII expansion card.
  13. Besides full ZorroII autoconfiguration, a battery backuped real time clock is
  14. present (optional) as well as the possibility to enhance ICY with the commercial
  15. vmc hyperCOM 3i module, which adds two serial ports (16 bytes FIFO) and one
  16. bidirectional parallel port via a 16C552 UART.
  17. As ICY is designed as a short card, it fits nicely next to a flicker fixer in a
  18. video slot.

  20. A complete set of schematics is included as well as a layout for a doublesided
  21. PCB. 
  22.  
  23. Software support is available via Wilhelm Noeker's i2c.library.
